Many of my original color pencil drawings and paintings are not planned or conceived ahead of time. Dreamlike abstraction doodles are my reflections of the contemporary world I live in. The drawings are whimsical with a bit of surrealist overtones. Many times a drawing starts out with something that caught my attention: a reflection in a building, the color of a flower, a feeling about something or someone; from there it grows into its own being. My original watercolors are more abstract and spontaneous but the process is still the same as the drawings.
